[News] Korea's first localized DLMS / COSEM protocol by I-ON Communications
Korea’s leading unstructured data management solution and service provider,
I-ON (www.i-on.net/eng) has recently brought off a successful localization of DLMS / COSEM
protocol. DLMS / COSEM is the most widely accepted international standard for
utility meter data exchange.
In addition to its main business in WCMS (Web
Content Management System) sector, I-ON has become an emerging technology
provider in Smart Grid sector, especially in DR (Demand Response) and Prosumer.
As an international standard protocol for two-way remote measurement, DLMS / COSEM (IEC62056) is a core protocol of AMI (Advanced Metering Infrastructure) for real-time monitoring of energy consumption and data communication between a server and a client.
