with the Merger and acquisition of Redpine will take over the ECM industry as a
leader!
I-ON
Communications, the Content Management System vendor (CEO: Oh Jae Cheol) had announced
the news of M&A of Redpine specialized in Enterprise Content Management the
19th January 2007.
With
this merger and acquisition, I-ON will diversify its product portfolio and take
over the ECM market from the CMS market with the expansion of its customer
base.
The
main reason of this acquisition is that Refine is composed with the core
experts who developed the domestic ECM market and no other vendor can overcome
the Redpine’s experience and know-how. Also, Redpine has products that can work
well for the domestic market as well as the oversea markets.
Currently, I-ON had just completed the
combination of I-ON’s ECM product called iCAFE (I-ON Content Application
Framework Engine) with the Redfine’s ECM product and will launch this product
as the iCAFE for image for an active marketing and sales activities which will
take during this February.
I-ON
is aiming the expansion of its ECM business, but before this goal, I-ON will
prioritize its customer trust by offering a more reliable and secure services
and better products to its prospective clients.
